It sneaks up
Like a beast
Destroying everything
In it’s path.
Houses destroyed
Memories gone
And hero’s risking
Their lives
To save us all.
It leaves in its
Wake
Destruction and fear,
And questions that
May never be answered.
Air quality suffocating
How much worse must it be
For those
In the belly of
The Beast.
For those who pray
I ask that you lift up
Those facing the belly of the
Beast.
