After canoeing with the Chapter One group of the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association in Stillwater Reservoir in the Adirondacks, we took the long dirt and gravel road back past Twitchell Lake to Eagle Harbor. Along this road there were many bridges over water areas that were lovely in the Fall. This marshy area was just off of the road and showed some of the early Fall foliage colors contrasted against the tan marsh grass and shallow dark tannin filled water.
The Adirondacks seems to have a strong charm!
