Lesser celandine

Ficaria verna, (Ranunculus ficaria).

Early in the spring, as early as March, golden yellows appear.

The flowers resemble single stars with numerous stamens.

They open with sunrise and close again in the evening or in cloudy and rainy weather during the day.
