The photo was taken in a garden in Chicago, Illinois.
I took the photo using a Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera. I used Luminar 2018 to apply the ‘Image Enhancer’ preset from the basic presets.

Hydrangeas were my great grandmother’s favorite flower. I don’t know why, but she called them “Little Bulgarian”. Also, to get blue color, she used to stick a nail in to the ground, near the root. This plant reacts on acidity of the soil by changing color.
Some people call it “The Million Flowers” and yes, I agree with Kim, I love the blue ones
I love hydrangeas. The blues are my favorites but this bi color is my second. Love the photo.
I think I like the blue ones more also.
