Grey wagtail

The grey wagtail (Motacilla cinerea) is a small bird, about 18-19 cm in size.

It is most commonly found along streams, lakes and marshy meadows high in the mountains (in this case Lake Orestiada, Greece).

It nests in holes between rocks and crevices of mountains.

It feeds on insects and their larvae, which collects along shores and shallow streams.
