Patrick Moore is a scientist that lives in Canada. He is also known for being an advocate for genetically modified organisms (GMO) in agriculture. He has made claims in the past that glyphosate, the active ingredient in the weedkiller RoundUp made by Monsanto, is perfectly safe to drink.
However, the talk that he was talking is not the walk that he is walking. In this interview with The National, Mr. Moore is asked by the reporter to drink some glyphosate. The reporter had a jar of glyphosate ready for Moore to slurp it down. Of course, Moore backed away from that claim real quick.
If an ingredient is an active ingredient, than that ingredient is chemically toxic. We all learned that in chemistry class in high school.
Too much chemical stuff is still used in agriculture, dear friend
That is true – some is needed but not the stuff that kills other people
