There was flooding onto the streets from the coast during this weekend at Newport Beach and the Balboa Peninsula. It started on Friday from the high tide, and it continued on Saturday.
Meanwhile, 9 miles inland, across the street from the UC Irvine campus, I hung out at my pool and jacuzzi, enjoying the calm saline pool water and hot water with purring jets to massage my feet.
