Des Plaines River in Fall (2014-10-14 13-05-31a)

The photo was taken at the River Trail Nature Center, Northbrook, Illinois (Cook County). The river runs through the preserve which is part of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County.

The camera was a Nikon Coolpix P7700. I used ACDSee Ultimate 10.4 to adjust the lighting and boost the contrast and vibrance.
