While I spent most of the weekend indoors at a swim meet, I was able to get out on a few walks during morning warm-ups. Given the hot weather, there was plenty of insect activity at 7:00 or 8:00 A.M. I missed out on getting a few pictures of an owl, but the only time I saw it was when it flew off to another tree when I got too close.
