It’s a kind of woody sponge.
I saw it just by chance on a tree close to my work.
It is spread in large parts of the world – in North America, Australia, Asia and Europe, where it is a common cause of decay of living or dead trees.
Connoisseurs claim that eat, but I would not bet!
yes if not from mycologist suggestion.. then no eating is allowed when it comes to mushrooms.
But she looked beautiful on the tree 🙂
