Bayer looks to turn around toxic Monsanto acquisition

Over the past weekend, Bayer decided to look for alternatives to the harmful glyphosate which causes cancer that is in the weed killer RoundUp.  RoundUp is manufactured by Monsanto.  Bayer acquired Monsanto one year ago, but due to over 1,300 lawsuits against Monsanto for causing non-Lymphoma in its customers.

In just one year Bayer’s stock has plummeted by 50 percent.  Bayer is investing five million euros in research to find a non-harmful chemical to replace glyphosate in RoundUp.
