Take a Train Through an Apartment Building

No, this is not a specially made-up title. I stumbled across an interesting article about unusual trains. One of them in the overpopulated city of Chongqing, China actually does go through an apartment building. When they were planning the monorail they realized that to make room for it most likely they would have to knock down a 19-story apartment block. However, in an overpopulated city, it would be difficult to find housing for all the people concerned. So instead they decided to remove two floors and create a tunnel through which this train has been passing for the past 13 years. It must be just amazing to see a train running right through a block of apartment buildings.

I wonder if the people living there feel their apartments shake every time the train passes through.
