We have a neighbor who dresses up her cat for every occasion. Toby never looks happy about it. We never talk to her about it, because really it is none of our business. But this afternoon she showed up at our house with a picture of some kind of statue or cat thing and wants my husband to create the elaborate costume. He posses no tact so I cannot let him deliver the news that he will not create this
He is Native American and he could do the work and it would be beautiful, but not for her poor cat. I think I am just going to say, I am sorry he only does authentic leather and beadwork. I hope that is enough to stop the conversation. He won’t be so kind.
Do you have pets that enjoy being dressed up?
To my mind, this “hobby” of your neighbor may cause harm to health of her cat.
Cats do not really need to be dressed-that’s my opinion
Pets aren’t babies, I would never dress them up unless necessary (if they feel cold). ?
