Misty Morning over Blue Mountain Lake

The Adirondack Guideboat Museum (now called the Adirondack Experience) has one of the most amazing views in the Adirondacks. Here near the snack bar area and above, you can see a picturesque view of the entire Blue Mountain Lake. It is called the “Jewel of the Adirondacks” for good reason. It is dotted with small islands and has clear blue water from a spring source right in the lake. Here it had been cloudy and even rainy but the clouds are just starting to give way to sunshine leaving the air still misty.
