Hey Boys

My world is surrounded by boys! I live with my brother and my husband. My grandsons are often here and I spend all the time with them  I can.  Most of my writing is to remind them that they are important, smart, loved and amazing. They are very aware that this life is temporary and everyone has to leave. So I left them some digital footprints here and other places to remind them that they are loved, today, tomorrow and always. Just because you cannot see someone doesn’t mean that they aren’t there. You carry a piece of everyone who ever loved you. Nothing and no one can take that from your heart.

I love you all as my granddad would say “more than words can say.” You have freely given me your hearts and showed your love even when I was throwing a temper tantrum. Remember that life is eternal and when people leave this place and their body is left behind cold and stiff, their spirit moves on warm and loved.

You all know right from wrong. You know how to make good decisions. You know how to forgive and move forward. You all have each other and the skills to keep on, keepin’ on. I am proud of you. Be your best self and love the life you have been given.

There’s Braums Ice Cream in the freezer. Enjoy it and be happy and strong.

  1. When we grow older, we especially like our grandchildren, and we are especially ignorant of them. It is probably because of years of agony and the knowledge of approaching our end of life.
