Gratitude ~ Part Two

Let’s assume that your parents did a great job and taught you gratitude. The next step is to practice gratitude. Sometimes that can be harder than you think! When it seems like everything is working against you, how do you find gratitude?

I tend to do it with humor and music. Those two things typically bring on the gratitude. Some people mix up gratitude with happiness. They are very different things. You can be very sad and grateful.

Today I am grateful for my family and all our flaws.

Today I am grateful that I have known what it is like to be loved unconditionally.

Today I am grateful that I have learned how to express remorse and do all I can to fix the things I break.

Today I am grateful for 24 hours to get things done.

Today I am grateful that I am the master of my ship.

Today I am grateful for peace.

Never forget to give thanks to those you love. It makes a difference.

  1. Ghostwriter,

From the tone of some of your recent posts – including this one – I am very worried about you. It sounds to me as though you are dropping very dark hints that you plan to do something from which there is no turning back.

Can you set our minds at rest?
