There are thousands of things we can do to improve our lives. Still, change can be a very overwhelming and stressful process. Perhaps one of the things we can do to make change easier to embrace is to create healthy rewards for moving in the right direction. LIttle celebrations along the way seem like a good idea.
What would it look like? For me, the reward should be something that I enjoy. It should be something that doesn’t get in the way of my goals. It would be great if it could benefit others as well.
So today I am beginning to create a new habit. Somewhere around 63 days, ist will be something I don’t even think about I just do and all along the way I am going to make certain I have healthy rewards. I am going to use this tool, to help me out!
Here are some of the rewards that I will enjoy.
Prepare for the next day ahead to reduce stress (yes that would reward me)
Enjoy a nice warm shower.
Get rid of 5 things I never use
Smile for no reason
Play some kind of game with the family
Read something for pure pleasure
