Most countries in the world named after an old ethnic group. France – According to Franks, who conquered the country in the Middle Ages. Switzerland – The people of Switzerland. Italy – After tribe Vital Vietnam – The Viet people who live in the south of the country. Afghanistan – “The earth Afghans”.
It is quite understandable that countries get their names after the tribes that existed there.
