Denny had, as usual, created an army of friends, but no boy friend. She focused on her work. She took summer classes so that a four year degree took three and a half. She graduated top of her class.
After a month with her family she began a Masters at a far away University.
She liked the place and there was so much to see and explore.
She would visit all the points of interest, eat at all the different restaurants, shop at all the different stores.
She always met people and was always friendly, but never let them close, because they were temporary. Everything was temporary, so there was no reason to get involved beyond pleasantries.
Sometimes temporary can be a good thing in life.
