Spectators got more than their money’s worth at the Ripley’s Aquarium shark tank in Toronto, Ontario Canada. A man hopped over a security barrier, stripped off all his clothing and jumped into the shark tank on the main level. The tank had sawfish, moray eels and sand tiger sharks at the time the man jumped in. He spent about 5 minutes swimming in the shark tank and appeared to climb out at one point but then jumped back into the water. Police were called but the man got out and put on his clothes before the police arrived.
The Aquarium plans to file charges as soon as the culprit is found. The man, accompanied by a female, purchased their tickets to visit their aquarium for their bi-weekly Friday night Jazz event but went directly to the aquarium. at around 10:30 PM. It is reported that the couple left hastily even leaving some of clothing behind. Some visitors were a little disturbed and offended that their young children had to watch while others cheered the man on as he got out of the water and then did a back flip back into the tank.
Police are still looking for the suspect who they believed was involved in a violent assault earlier that evening at another location. A video of the man swimming in the shark tank has been posted online.
Horror … what did he think when he did this nonsense?
I would say he wasn’t thinking but I think he knew exactly what he was doing. Anyway they caught him today.
