Cornelian cherry

Cornelian cherry /Dogwood/.

A low tree or shrub with brownish-green branches. His crown is almost rounded.

For the first time, the dogwood is mentioned by Homer, in the scene in which Kirk feeds Odysseus and his sailors with fruit from the dogwood in order to turn them into pigs.

The fruits are red, oblong, fleshy, with a cylindrical stone and a wispy sweet-sour taste.

It is not a good idea to over-eat these fruits because you will get constipation!!!

However, this is also their purpose in folk medicine!
