I was introduced to these wonderful flowers about ten years ago, an elderly lady broke off long stems and gave them to me, told me to put them in a bucket of water, when roots came, plant them.
I did and have enjoyed them every single year since.
They do die all the way down to the grown and new limbs come each springtime.
But here in central Alabama we only get the beautiful show in the fall, sometimes right before a freeze!
This year we are blessed and get to enjoy them much longer.

What a lovely flower. I have never heard of these before, but they are pretty.
Yes they are, I would have expected them to bloom in Spring but nope they are fall bloomers.
Beautiful flowers! I think I hadn’t heard of them before either.
I just learned about then 10 years ago, I love them now, and they bloom in the fall of the year.
Nice! I have never heard of these, so I learned something today!!!
Me either till about ten years ago, now I can`t wait for them to bloom.
I guess as we move along the path of life we choose the things that matter to us. You’ve found a great one!
Beauty always matters! Flowers makes life prettier.
