Today has not been the best day. We are still without water and melting snow is just not a great time. Still I can’t see buying water to flush the toilet, so melting snow has been my main chore. Melt it, but it in a jug and fill up the tanks.
So when I stepped out on the porch and saw a box that had treats in it I have to admit I was happy. I can’t do dishes, without boiling all of the water and let some of it cool. I can’t shower or bath. But I can popcorn, drink some tea and have some chocolate.
I have no idea who sent this to us, but it was a splendid treat. Well, I am not sure if all of it is splendid, but the popcorn I tried was delightful and cup that help my tea was fun.
So thanks to the stranger who delivered the box.
