My Home and Kitchen Wishlist

I’m not trying to sound sexist but most women are this way.  They usually don’t buy things they “want” for themselves.  They will buy what they think they “need”.  But if it’s something they want, then that’s sort of considered a luxury and they just can’t allow themselves to be pampered.  It would make them feel guilty because after all, everybody else must come first.

Take me, for instance.  There are items that are on my wishlist that would be fun to have in my kitchen.  But even though I see them in the store or when I’m doing online window shopping, and sometimes they are even ON SALE at a great price, and some of them aren’t even that expensive anyway … I won’t buy them for myself.  I’ll just stare at them, heave a huge sigh, and then walk away.  But if someone surprises me and gets any one of those products as a gift for me, then I am overjoyed.  Here are a few items on My Home and Kitchen Wish List.  (I have more, but I narrowed it down to 10 items.)

Are any or all of these on your list?

Is there anything else I should wish for?

#1 An Electric Kettle

#2 Everybody Raves About the Instant Pot

#3 The Alternative, In Case I Don’t Get the Instant Pot

#4 The TV Chefs Say You Should Have a Salad Spinner

#5 Fun Way to Get Everybody to Eat Their Veggies

#7 Air Fryer ~ Fried Foods Without Using Oil

#8 Every Kitchen Should Have a Wok

    • I’m embarrassed to say that I had one and didn’t care for it properly. If you don’t oil it will be ruined. I had to throw it away. Now I’m hoping somebody will buy me another one. I’ve learned how to care for a wok properly now.

#9 Grilled Burgers or Pancakes?

    • At my house, we have certain appliances that are constantly replaced because of too much overuse. I can’t tell you how many blenders we’ve had. I just found a brand new blender in the kitchen the other day! I’m like: “Another one??” (O.o) LOL.

  1. You weren’t sexist at all, that was a compliment. I wish men were like women, but they often complain about being broke when they truly need to buy something. ??

  2. This is funny because I complety agree with you. I guess it is the maternal instinct in women, we tend to do and give to others and put ourselves last. But every now and then I will treat myself, but it is usually on sale. 🙂
