Delightful Spanish cuisine

If you thought that you should visit Spain only for its beaches and the nice weather, or maybe just to see some football match, let me prove you wrong! Their kitchen, according to me, it’s one of the main reasons I’d always keep on coming back! The Spanish cuisine is one of the leading not just in Europe but in the whole world! This is not my oppinion but the biggest gourmands’ and master cheffs’!

The Spanish cuisine has been influenced by several cultures when they settled in Spain or when they just passed by. The Greeks were the ones who introduced the olive oil while the phoenicians left the sauces. The Romans, the Carthaginians, even the Jews left marks and elements from their cuisine therefore the Spanish cusisine nowadays looks and tastes as it does.

Brace yourself and let me introduce you one of the most famous dishes one should try when in Spain. You can ask for a portion of it, but most typical is to ask several different smaller portions, or ‘tapas’ as they call it.

Whoever visited Spain agrees that one cannot help but start the day with ‘churros and hot chocolate’!

Another typical breakfast is toasted bread with goat cheese, caramelized onion and salmon. This is so yummy!

Toasted bread, olive oil, ham, rucula and parmesan is another way to start the day in a delicious way!

A slice of bread with russian salad and anchoves is something that feeds your eyes as well.

Beef meat in Pedro Ximenez wine sauce is a must!

Even though the original recepie comes from Valencia and it’s their trademark, you can ask for ‘paella’ anywhere!

‘Pringá’ sandwich melts in your mouth, and ‘Antonio Romero’ bar (Seville) is the master of it!

‘Carrillada’ is beef cheeks and something you would like to prapera at home later. You won’t forget about its taste.

Ham croquetas. Any additional word is needless.

Even the simpliest potatos taste amazing in Spain! With a spicy sauce even better!

Spinach and rice is something very common in the Spanish cuisine.

Some typical beveridge all over the country is ‘tinto de verano’ or the summer wine. It’s a mixture of red wine and oringe or lemon juice served with ice. Perfect for the warm weather!

Or how about an orange flavoured wine, mostly typical for Seville, served in a shot glass.

However if I have to choose a Spanish wine, it would definitely be something from Torres Winery!
