What are your local artists wearing this spring and summer? At a local art reception, I noticed 10 must-have items to pull off the artist look.
- Black and white stripes with a red accent. The red accent could be accessories and/or jacket.
- Bold colors are popular, whether bold prints or bold solid colors.
- Retro and pop art are always fun, modern, and youthful.
- Denim skinny jeans and leggings are always comfortable and casual for laidback Cali people.
- Espadrilles are casual and trendy, worn mostly with a nautical outfit. It also looks good with skirts and dresses.
- Flat sandals and flipflops are always popular during the summertime.
- Short print dresses
- Long print skirts
- Maryjanes, whether flats or with heels.
- Tattoos and colored hair. Tattoos can be real tattoos, henna temporary tattoos or the kiddie tattoos you stick on your body. Colored hair can be chemically treated, natural botanical henna, or any other hair color.
That’s nice to know. As for me, I prefer people show their own style in fashion.

yeah, i decided to do a different post about fashion using real people in public, which reminds me of that magazine article about dos and donts or which celeb is dressed better in the same outfit.
Awesome post! However I think everyone invents his own fashion. Not everything is for everyone! Great post though!
i pick out ideas from different inspiration, and create my own style. that is why i feel my fashion style is mixed and i cant really pick a particular one that i like best.
