I tried something different today in order to keep on schedule. Since I love thrift stores so much, and can spend hours in them, I wanted to tease myself by giving myself only thirty minutes to shop. Sounds fun, huh? Within the thirty minutes I had to find and examine items of my interest to purchase. Once my timer hit thirty minutes I headed to the register and purchased what I had in hand after weeding through them. The fun part about this was I literally had to pace myself in each section, keeping an eye on my phone as the thirty minutes ticked down because it is easy to get sidetracked looking through many interesting items.
Once my timer hit zero, I had a hoodie, trench coat, and a pair of 527 Strauss & Co Levi’s in hand. I weeded through all three items getting rid of the defective items and items that did not fit. In the end, I ended up purchasing the 527 Strauss & Co Levi’s, which was a huge score because they fit perfectly. Have you ever timed yourself while shopping? Why not try it?
