- Ohio State Buckeyes hat by ML Caps
- Hooded denim vest jacket by Dravus Hendrix
- Skinny by Epic Threads
- Skech-knit by Skechers
With spring amongst us, it is that time to pull out the spring clothing and remove some of those clothing layers that we have been wearing. Today, I pulled out this spiffy hooded jacket, only to see that it matched these skinny jeans slightly, so it became my outfit of choice today. I did try this pairing with a different hat, but its appearance just didn’t set well with me, so I paired it with the next best hat I had laying around which was my beloved Ohio State hat that I have had for sometime; wearing it off-and-on throughout the years.

Thank you so much for not wearing that Illini beanie!
Lol. You’ll see it again definitely. I also have 3 ball caps. Typically in transition to both spring and summer I wear ball caps.
which is funny because traditionally the Illini don’t play ball in spring, summer, fall or winter!
Its like a hunting mossy oak hat with the Illini ‘I’ logo. I love it
Da Coach! when I worked in downtown Chicago, I went to Ditka’s at least once a week. just to walk by all the stuff.
I was born a Bears fan!
Something that you will rarely see someone living in Chicago wearing. More of in the country; central Illinois where I am from.
I spent a lot of time in Springfield on a project when I was working and a lot of time in Chicago (born there, and worked there) it is like two different states!
When people often ask me about my accent I tell them that it is like a combination of central Illinois and St Louis.
I was in Don’s Grill like a week ago and I heard a legit Chicago accent. Totally reminded me of Bill Swerski’s Superfans – Saturday Night Live, lol.
I’ll have to bookmark it and check it out in the future
i haven’t been in 4 years I don’t know if it is still there but it was off Michigan Avenue. Near the water tower on a side street.
I’ve heard about it so I imagine that it is still there.
It was a lot of fun to watch NCAA BBall games there!
Oh really! Well I will just have to add that to my list of places to watch college football, if they play that there too.
yes they have TV’s all over the place, or at least they did
I have like one spot identified downtown Chicago where to watch, but I haven’t made it out yet. I’ll have to put together a bar series if I stick around Virily long enough.
that would be a blast, and I hope you do stick around long enough!
I have always wanted to put together a list about some of the Big Ten bars I have visited. Every season I visit a different one just to watch a game. Mostly one the good opening games.
There used to be a bar in Greenwood IN called Border Wars.
it had 1/2 the bar decorated in black and gold.
Half the restaurant was in cream and crimson.
I loved going there.
That does sound pretty cool. I tried to look Border Wars up on Yelp
i don’t know that it is still there. I left Greenwood 8 years ago!
Doesn’t seem like it because I could not find anything on Yelp or Google
my sister moved to Chicago and my Greenwood friends don’t head up that way often. I will ping some folks.
Is that a jean jacket with no sleeves. I am glad you are into spring. I think we are still into winter. We change our clocks on the 29th of this month.
It has sleeves, the sleeves are faux leather. The jacket is made this way.
