Saturday, August 29, 2020

This is the story of the real Alice in the novel, Alice in Wonderland. Her name is Alice Liddell. Lewis Carroll aka Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, was attracted to young Alice Liddell, in which their relationship was once considered controversial. Alice was the dean’s daughter, and she inspired Dodson to create his novels. I guess she was his little muse. She was 4 and he was 24 when they first met. He became a priest but not a full priest. He spent his live as a priest in the Christ’s Church. He was also a photographer, and he liked taking photos of Alice and her two sisters. He appeared to bond with children.
