Star Trek Wars – 7

Real Trekkers, whether they saw the first episode in the 60s or have caught up over the years, have a certain loyalty and expectation.   This is not odd.

Many fictional characters, whether Sherlock Holmes or James Bond have set certain ‘standards’ and are expected to act in certain ways.

One would assume that anyone hired to work on a new Sherlock Holmes or James Bond presentation would do their reading, their watching, and try to maintain a standard.

This is not what happened with Star Trek.

The new movies moved off into different patterns so many Trekkers didn’t watch them.

And when it comes to Star Trek Discovery, it seems to have been written by people who have never watched a single episode of Star Trek in their lives.
