I have to include two disclaimers for this movie.
1. I was a HUGE FAN of the TV show.
2. We watched the movie at the iPIC (a theater that also serves food and drinks while you watch the movie)
Overall I really wanted to love this reboot. The movie was solid, but not exceptional. I felt engaged most of the movie but not sitting on the edge of my seat.
My overall rating for the movie is a 4
This one is one of those movies that if you loved the old TV show you will enjoy the movie. It comes from a time when the world was different.
Overall a good experience and an enjoyable movie!
I have to agree with you. Fortunately, I heard that it was absolutely awful so, when I watched it and it wasn’t as bad as i had heard, it was enjoyable. The trick is to set your expectations very low. 🙂
That is always the best way to approach movies. SOme you know are simply the best and you go happy to love them. Others you set the bar low and they surprise you!!!
Believe it or not, a sequel to the Man From UNCLE is in the works with Guy Ritchie as the director. I would like to see a Girl From U N C L E movie.
I had heard that – the movie did well and they left a we are going to have another movie at the end with the last scene.
I haven’t watched this yet. I’ll watch this soon. Good review 🙂

That’s a cool movie
It is a really cool movie. I love the fact that they set it in the same time period as the original TV show.
