I heard this on the radio while driving home this evening, and I was just blown away. Gormflaith ingen Murchada (960-1030 AD) was a high-flying woman who married several powerful men during her lifetime, including the Viking king of Dublin, but most famously Brian Boru, Ireland’s first High King.
