Cancel culture has to do with trying to get someone fired because they don’t agree with their opinion as well as you are against freedom of speech. Moreover, cancel culture describes “a mob mentality to boycott certain products, people, or programs.”
This video is all about Ricky Gervais warning people of the future cancel culture. I think it has to do with censorship and silencing certain people.
