Eleanor Rossevelt ~ She’s Amazing

I simply cannot say enough good things about this woman’s common sense. She just strips it down to the very basics that everyone can understand.

The other night we were having a family dinner. It was a large crowd to include extending family. The subject of going to jail came up. One of the grandsons asked me if I had ever been in jail. I said “I have visited people who are in jail.”

Then another family member grabbed the teaching opportunity. “She was visiting me. It is no fun to be locked. I did the crime and I also did my time. It was hard. I was very bored. I missed important things with my family and I could never get that time back. Don’t go to jail. It’s not worth it. Don’t do the crime.

Then we talked about this wonderful quote.
