I am reviewing a copy of Higher is Waiting through Random House and Netgalley: Higher is Waiting is a journey of faith, a journey that we are encouraged to go on. Comedic genius Tyler Perry overcame abuse and poverty, he endured prejudice, but he found Jesus, and found his passion, despite his first plays not fairing well he had the faith to continue. Tyler Perry did not give up, he refused to fail, instead he continued to work towards his goals. His hard work paid off, and his faith helped him through the more difficult times.

In this book he talks about seeing moments of beauty and grace in which was often childhood marked with brutality.  An Abusive Father one which he and his Mother would eventually become free of.

I give Higher is Waiting five out of five stars!
