For me, Christopher Robin, was a movie was about a tumble back in time to check on some old friends. Some of the them were there and I missed a few. I watched the movie four times because I had been asked to do a piece on it for a publication. I had to watch for different things to be thorough.
I was prepared for things to be “different” and much of the magic gone. Still in the end I was heartbroken. (Yes, all four times.) I shouldn’t have been because I am a realist at heart and this movie points out the truth of growing up and moving on.
The four acre woods that I dearly remember won’t be the one in Christopher Robin.
I will hold it my heart with this song.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGTO-_hpnEcI have to count all the bees in hive and chase all the clouds in the sky. I am sorry that Christopher Robbin forgot.
Ok, now I’m glad I didn’t watch it!
But maybe there’ll be one day that I watch it
Yes there were tears shed here as I watched as well. Eeyore was not the only unhappy one.
