When the Cold War Ended – 29

During the Cold War society needed the Best and Brightest.  It had no time to waste on others.  

Parents had to toilet train their children early, have them capable of behaving properly as soon as possible. If there was a nuclear war those who could not take care of themselves or at least understand and obey orders might cause the death of others.

By the Sixties there were just too many Best and Brightest, and they challenged authority.

The dumbing down process began in the 1970s and carefully continues so as not to alert the ‘Me’ Generation what is really happening.

In this way, society can be returned to the level where the class structures actually work  and the middle can be kept as a buffer to block the lower class.
