The first written information about this wine dates back to 1494.In the 19th century, this vineyard was among the largest in Europe.What makes this area the most famous are white wine grape varieties, from which produce quality and top quality wines.The most frequent is the Italian Riesling (over 50%), followed by Rhine Riesling, White Burgundy, Shardone, Muscat Otonel, Traminac, Kreaca, Smederevka, Zupljanka, Shasla.The pride of “Vrshac’s vineyards” is certainly the autochthonous variety Kreaca, recognized throughout the world.
