The US Embassy in Belgrade organized a reception marking Independence Day (July 4th), attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the Serbian government minister. This July 4 celebrates 100 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and the United States. We celebrate 100 years since Woodrow Wilson hung the Serbian flag on the White House. Traditionally, the yard of the residence is decorated in American colors and motifs from American culture. US Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott with his hand on his heart listened to and sang the hymns of Serbia and America.
