Kakheti, Georgia
Georgia is the cradle of wine, and people here will tell you that the word wine is not from Latin, from the Georgian word Corvinus. Here one can find more than 500 species of grapes, and even 300 is just from the Kakheti region. As you walked these plains, you’ll see landscapes like those that you see in the pictures from Tuscany, and will be an opportunity to talk with local people who are predominantly engaged in wine-making. Be sure to try the local drink Cacula (chacha) which is made from several grape varieties and their strength, well compete with the domestic brandy.
are the grapes growing on the building? That is so cool!
