A week after his ‘performance’, he asked his staff if Ms. Skylar had accomplished the various tasks he had set.
They weren’t certain, checked, told him no.
Murphy exploded. He shouted, he threatened. He then ordered that his demands be put into writing and be hand delivered to Ms. Skylar.
The next day, just after lunch he verified that the letter had been handed to Ms. Skylar.
He asked if she responded and was told that she had said nothing. He nodded as if everything was complete, and went about his usual tasks.
A few days later he sent a member of his Staff to ascertain if Ms. Skylar had conformed.
He was told, ‘no.’
