This time, the tenth time, it was different. This time the Ecard came from Daniblue.
Daniblue … Melly didn’t recognise the name. But she didn’t have to, because this Ecard had an entry.
As Melly began to read it she started to tremble,so stopped,and ran into the ladies room. Behind a locked door she let the tears flow. She would read the full entry when home.
When in that dark dull flat Melly now called home.
It was funny that January 15th never clicked with her. It was no one’s special day, no recalled ‘milestone’.
But for Danelle Coller it was a special day.

I break up the chapters. I write the whole story in a spurt then go back and do what editing, and when I publish I do the final edit.
