Dandelions growing around my woodpile….but aren’t they too pretty to be weeds? I could weed eat them or pull them up, but maybe I will just leave them this time! It’s funny how it’s still the middle of summer, yet the stores are already starting to sell fall decor etc. I say let summer last as long as possible. What’s the hurry?
Summer is my favorite time of year. This has been a good one, nice long warm days. Not too hot. It’s almost time to pick blackberries…another “weed” according to some. Some people want perfect yards, I say let nature do it’s thing sometimes.

Dandelions put on quite the show when left to themselves, and are nutritious, but we need to be careful to only eat ones grown in soil free of pesticides or herbicides. Your photo could be used to do a painting. :- )
