Abusers search for that solitary person who has no ‘backative’. The lonely man, the singular woman. The Abuser will fill every inch of the lives of their victim.
If the proto-victim has no one but the Abuser, and his or her family, his friends, this is quicksand.
Every person in that Vicitm’s life belongs to the Abuser. Every person in his/her life will defend, support, explain, justify all actions of the Abuser.
This means that the Victim is the ‘only one’ who thinks that….
And because the choice is either a life full of people or singularity, the victim will not escape from the Abuser, even where there is opportunity.
