When one does not analyse the past relationship s/he will get into another abusive relationship, misjudge a good relationship, or be so afraid, that there will be no next real relationship.
Until one has ‘mastered’ the ‘lesson’ of Abuse, to the extent they see the signs, they hear between the words, one teeters on the border.
Once one has mapped it out, remembered the actions, as bad as they were, and can forgive themselves, and honour themselves, it won’t happen again. Not in any version.
Sure, one might begin a task for a ‘friend’ or even a family member, and then, pull up and realise what it is.
It is not, “please help me”, it is “Ha Ha, fool!”
And appreciating that makes one stronger.
We are all made stronger when we go through issues in life.
