When you leave a relationship, be it with an Abusive Spouse or Boss take the time to analyse every moment, and see how you felt, how you responded, what you thought.
Remember the first time he hit you and said; “You made me?”
And you believed him? Why?
Remember how you wanted to go to see that event and she made you so late you missed it?
Was this a one off or can you think of other occasions when you wanted to go somewhere and some event interceded?
Once you start analysis of a relationship, you will find many ‘clues’ you missed. Many repetitions.
