Donor Tree – 365 Photos Challenge #6

While headed to work, I had a little time to spare so I stopped in at Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park where there are many of these unique looking sculptures. My most recent share from this park was ‘Survival’ by Becky Guttin which you can view here. Today’s feature is titled ‘Donor Tree’ by Joseph Folise. When I first saw this sculpture from a distance, I just knew that it had some type of meaning to it, so I wanted to get a closer look.  Listed on the plaques are the names of donors that have shown their support for the park.

Per, Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park the dual purpose of this sculpture is to serve as a unique sculpture and additionally as a legacy fundraiser for the Sculpture Park.

These photos were taken with a Samsung Galaxy S8, and shared as part of the 365 Photos Challenge, which the rules and guidelines are listed if you would like to participate.
