Cutting the Cords – 3 – End

Mark discarded what his ex-wife (Ex Wife 1) had told him.  He decided he would commit himself to helping his sons gain the property.

For the next seven years Mark called and emailed his sons about the property.  Seven years of cut calls, or answered ones.  Seven years emailing, worrying, angry, and nothing.

Finally, realising his help was unwanted, that he had become a clown, he reflected on those words Leah had written.

He did have a right to a happy life, at least one without unnecessary stress.

No matter what had happened in the past, this was the present, and how could his sons be so focused on hurting him that they would lose property?

He went over the past years.  The phone calls, emails, stress.

And he thought to himself that, as Leah, it was time to cut the cords.

What do you think?
