For this blue and green week challenge I wanted to share a couple of my Blue Ridge Parkway shots. This is one of my favorite places to visit. In the mountains of North Carolina. Absolutely breathtaking views. The Blue Ridge Parkway is often called “America’s Favorite Drive,” it is a US National Parkway that winds 469 miles through Virginia and North Carolina, connecting Shenandoah National Park on its northern end and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on its southern end. It is a long, slow, and beautiful drive, famous for long-range vistas and close-up views of the rugged mountains and pastoral landscapes of the Appalachian Highlands.

I would live here if I had the chance. Breathtaking views of the blue mountains.

Another view of the mountains and sky

Everywhere you look you see spectacular views. I am always ready to go back for another visit. And each time of the year brings more beauty. The fall is another beautiful time of the year to go and see the foliage.

  1. We do not have the opportunity to visit all places. But everyone has the opportunity to publish beauty and others here on the site to be happy.
