Barry's Diaries – 77

In the morning his folks  spoke about the Party and asked about the girl.

“Her name is Madison, she’s got a great sense of humour,” he said, having decided that’s how he’d answer when asked.

His folks had a good time, met a lot of people, laughed, were very comfortable.

He told them what Madison had said about the functions being mandatory;  they had missed the Halloween and Thanksgiving… they could miss no more.

Later, he went to his room, did his homework, read ahead.  He thought of calling Madison but didn’t.

What do you think?
